So that's inspiring, too.Kasie Whitenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15475275103424782144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701398832410746913.post-63664076826178704132013-11-12T04:03:45.873-08:002013-11-12T04:03:45.873-08:00Thanks, Jennifer. It always comes through, though, and I feel better at having handled the situation in a true and honest way.Kasie Whitenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15475275103424782144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701398832410746913.post-42470873798450351182013-11-12T04:02:09.428-08:002013-11-12T04:02:09.428-08:00Thanks, mom. You spoke of forgiveness. Today I humbly ask God to forgive me, and He has amazed me by forgiving me for all my sins and indiscretions of my lurid (probably not the right adjective - perhaps foolish) past. Like you, my faith is deep and very personal. And I thank and praise God for allowing me to experience an exciting spiritual journey. Moreover, I have a tough time with orthodox religion. For me, religion becomes similar to an institution or a government for controlling its followers. However, I do recognize some of its benefits. Those Sunday school years, catechism, and youth fellowships certainly played a major role in developing who I am today. Thank you for sharing, and I pray that Hollie Russ will some day realize who her creator and loving Heavenly Father is.Cheri Whitenernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701398832410746913.post-76605633081757134962013-11-09T11:05:32.415-08:002013-11-09T11:05:32.415-08:00I think that's really interesting that your fr...I think that's really interesting that your friend Anna tied fitness with spirituality. Also, thanks for sharing your faith story. I'm particularly encouraged by how you wrote about your experience when your Nana passed away--that faith healed you. Jennifer J. Thank you for sharing this personal and incredibly moving faith story with everyone. As you said I have had a different faith story from yours and it continues to evolve. I am so grateful for a God who does love me and wants me to have the very best of what His love gives me each and every day even when I feel I do not deserve it. All of that being said, I know He expects me to be the best I can be and to "love wastefully and fully" for in doing so all of God's children benefit and then God's children said AMEN!Samantha Apgarnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5701398832410746913.post-58068308892267650012013-11-09T09:06:09.260-08:002013-11-09T09:06:09.260-08:00I don't have a faith story to share but I do e...I don't have a faith story to share but I do enjoy reading about yours and your life on clemson road.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16489990908385745198noreply@blogger.com
